Orcas Island Health Care District is committed to transparency and welcomes input and participation from the public. All meetings of the Board of Commissioners are subject to the requirements of the Open Public Meetings Act (OPMA), chapter 42.30 RCW. In addition, the Public Records Act (PRA), chapter 42.56 RCW, requires that all public records as defined in the PRA are subject to public disclosure unless an exemption from disclosure in the PRA or in some other statute applies.
